Favourite Endura product and why:
Endura Gel (grape flavour), they are easy to digest and they get me through some tough sessions! I also use them in my races.
How did you get into your chosen sport?
I played Netball and Touch Football while also doing some running. I joined a Triathlon group with a family friend and originally just stuck with running. I was soon convinced to give swimming and cycling a go once I was surrounded by a big squad of Triathletes.
How important is diet and sports nutrition supplements to your performance?
Fairly important. You need it for recovery and energy for all sessions, as well as keeping on top of injury and illness.
What do you normally eat and drink on a typical training day?
I always start my day with a mix of quinoa, oats, yoghurt and fruits. For lunch I like a lot of greens with meat or eggs on a wrap. Dinner is always accompanied with some vegetables and during the day I always snack on nuts, dried fruit and things like Cruskits with peanut butter or tahini. I like to use Endura Rehydration for extra fuel on hard training days and always enjoy a good black coffee and soda water.
Where will we find you when you are not training or competing?
On a Gold Coast beach, in the Brisbane hinterland or even shopping in the city. I always like to seek out good cafes or restaurants with my boyfriend, or have dinner parties with my friends. On my break you’re most likely to find me on Moreton Island.
What is your best training tip?
Stay consistent, there’s nothing better than a good block of training. That gives me confidence anyway.
What are your goals for the next year?
My parents. They’re people who always put others first and have provided me with the opportunities that have led me to be the person I am today. I will always have the support of my family and that is so important to me.

How long would you normally spend training each week?
What is your favourite 'before race' meal?
I like Salmon with some rice and vegetables, but I’m not too particular so I can easily find something I enjoy.
Best nutritional advice?
For day-to-day nutrition I would say eat real food and stay away from highly processed foods. For all my sporting nutrition needs, I find Endura is the best supplement to fuel my rigorous training and racing regime.
How do you stay motivated with training?
The Triathlon World Series is so competitive and it’s always getting faster. I have many goals I would love to achieve, so it’s usually not too hard to find a reason to get out there.
The thing I love the most about being an athlete is...
I love travelling to new places. I definitely wouldn’t have been to the places I’ve been if I didn’t do Triathlon.
What is a common mistake made in your sport?
Probably over training.
Toughest experience in your career / What have you learnt from it?
A few periods of injury. I have learnt to be patient and have some belief in myself leading into races, even when my preparation hasn’t been ideal.
In five years time I will be...
Hopefully an Olympian.
What one or two things do you currently do in your training that are keys to your success?
Fuel myself correctly, of course with the help of Endura. Also constant dialogue with my coach.
